- My father, a European emigre was my first fashion mentor. He instilled in me a love for all things beautiful. He was a sample maker in a women's coat factory in Willamsburg BK. Good quality, classic, beautiful clothing was my birthright. In my 30+ years of business I have always subscribed to those precepts.
